Towards a Malaria-Free Konkan

Every year, monsoon-related illnesses such as Malaria, Dengue, Filaria, and Leptospirosis continue to affect communities across the Konkan region.

With increasing public health challenges, HEART Foundation, together with ADHS-NVBDCP Konkan Division, NMMC, Apollo Hospitals, and the Public Health Department of Maharashtra, launched the “Zero Malaria Starts With Me” initiative to spread awareness and encourage preventive action.

The initiative focuses on educating students, societies, organizations, and communities about symptoms, prevention, and responsible health practices.
