Young India News (www.youngindianews.org) is a News Tabloid (for Private circulation only) brought out by the CAP (Children Are Precious) project of Heart Foundation.
Heart Foundation (Regd. With Govt.) which has been working for the children in schools, colleges and education institutions. It has been over two years and finally the students are back in school. Due to the Covid Pandemic, they had to stay at home and their physical activities and also their overall growth has had an immense setback due to which we have understood that we need to Re-educate, Re-assure and Rehabilitate the students through a holistic approach and which is why we have started ‘The CAP’ (Children Are Precious) Project – The Right Living which will aim at going to them in schools / homes and educating them the Physical, Mental, Social, the right diet, Tiffin Audits and various ways of handling Medical Emergencies. We also would be reaching out to them through the Young India News (www.youngindianews.org). As this initiative is one of its kind, we have spread the Young India News in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad and Palghar schools and plan to continue in different districts, states and across the Nation in future. We are glad that the ADHS-NVBDCP Konkan division, Public Health Dept, Government of Maharashtra has joined hands and has encouraged us in our endeavor.
